2. Terms of Service
2.1 Acceptance of Terms

2.2 Eligibility
You are responsible for ensuring that your participation in any contest complies with all applicable laws, policies, and institutional rules (for example, your school, employer, or country).
2.3 Fair Use & Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to engage in any behavior that interferes with the integrity or availability of the Service, including:
- Attacking infrastructure outside the intended scope of a challenge.
- Attempting to disrupt, overload, or damage the platform or other participants.
- Sharing flags, challenge solutions, or writeups with others while a contest is active, unless explicitly allowed by the rules.
- Using automated tools to brute force or abuse rate limits beyond what is reasonably necessary for solving challenges.
2.4 Accounts & Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately if you believe your account has been compromised.
2.5 Availability & Changes to the Service
We aim to keep the Service available and stable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service at any time, including during a contest, if necessary for security or stability.
2.6 Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non‑infringement.
2.7 Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, RootAccess and its organizers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or reputation, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service.

We may update this Privacy Policy and Terms of Service from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
